If it takes a village to raise a child, then it takes a whole city to organize the various PTO events throughout the year.

Volunteer Roles:

• Dine Out
  Organize dates for Dine Out Nights at a local restaurant (like NYPD Pizza and Zoyo Yogurt) and attend event for support
• Silent Auction
  Help collect silent auction items, set-up the tables/items, manage the silent auctions at the PTO Mixer and Spring Carnival
• PTO Parent Night Out Mixer
  Set-up and break-down of the event, help with food prep/serving, help with music/audio support, provide childcare
• Spring Carnival
  Set-up and break-down of the event, help with music/audio support, run a kids’ activity, and much, much more
• Winter Hike
  Help pick-up and distribute drinks and snacks, be a hiker with a first-aid kit
• End-of-the Year Picnic
  Set-up and break-down, help with sales at the Khalsa merchandise table
• Graphic Designer
  Help create flyers and other materials for PTO events
• Photographer
  Take or collect photographs at PTO events for use on the PTO website, Facebook, and school yearbook.
• Create your own role based on your skills!
